Goa In Search Of Modification and Annulment

As per the suggestion which was offered by Goa International Travel Mart 2014 if Goa
wants to go beyond its potential than previous idea of Sun, Sea and sand needs to get change.

According to Lim Suat Keow, Malaysia marketing manager attached to Asia Pacific Tourism and Cultural Council Pvt Ltd, beaches of Goa are no new things for a tourist arriving from South East Asian countries and for the people of Malaysia it holds no significance.

To attract traveller from Malaysia and other eastern countries of Asia Goa would require bringing its eco life, wildlife and adventure perks into picture so that traveller could feel the diversity of Goa. Till now Goa have witnessed tourist from Russia and European countries but if they wish to be a centre of magnitude than they would have to excel beyond their prevailing mantra.

He further added by saying traveller from Australia and New Zealand hoes down to Goa with no specific reason when both the country are an Island nation and have numbers of beaches of their own. He questioned the travellers that if they wish to feel the same ambience then why don’t they travel down to Bali, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.

Irvinder Singh, a travel agent based in Singapore said Goa stands no chance to attract traveller from South East Asian Countries and if they want to change the fact then they should shift their focus in other ports of tourism.

He further added the expense here would cross the margin as compare to other side of tourist destination and was more convinced not to bring his client if Goa is not ready to pull up its socks to show its potential in other basics.

A senior tourism official said they are trying to level up other shows of Goa in form of tourism sector and besides beaches and sand dunes they have 30,000 old human civilizations in the form of carving and such location could be more essential while bringing the best out of Goa.
