It was William McFarlane who took an initiative and worked as per the expectation of the Scottish missionary and discovered the plinth of this pioneer institution of Kalimpong which stand as a base of Kalimpong modernization and civilization.
Though one can imagine 1886 till today and still on its way is really an accomplishment for any institute that’s the reason why people comes from all across the world especially from Scotland to witness the guiding light of this premier institution.
Recently school applauded 125 years of fruitful existence which is a landmark for not just school alumni but also for Kalimpong as a whole who took a share initiative in celebrating the hegemony of institution.
