On A Way to Discover Kerala by 27 Bloggers from the 15 Counties


It was on Tuesday when the 27 bloggers from the 15 counties stood out near the eastern doorway
of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple where they learned about the treasure trove which was rooted from an ante-chamber to one of the six vaults of the temple which has become a centre of magnitude of the world in terms of rituals.

After observing the more than a century-and-a-half-old ‘Methanmani’ atop the Karuvalappura malika at the north-eastern
portion of the Valiyakottaram complex of the landmark temple, the bloggers moved close to the steps leading to the temple to have a close look after a photo session. Many did not hide their displeasure on learning that they cannot enter the temple.

Century crossed Mathemani which is perched at the top of the Karuvalappura malika which is the north eastern section of the Valiyakottaram complex they observed and moved along the steps to have a closer look.

Although many of the bloggers were hesitated after understanding that they cannot enter the site of the temple. In words of Daniel Nunes Goncalves who visited the site of Kerala for the first time said to The Hindu that the temple was very sacred and he loved the way they followed the call of devotion and speaking in terms of dress code he found it very interesting and to sum up the fact he ended by saying it was an amazing experience to be around Kerala.

The bloggers who were selected after an online contest was rewarded with the two week trips which were organized by the Kerala tourism to encourage the destination throughout the world.
Daniel who was a part of the trip while writing his first blog talked about the experience he got up to during his first day tour at Kovalam, Poovar and Chowara. He further expressed the gratitude regarding his course where he got an opportunity to help the local fishermen while pulling the boats during his tour at Poovar.

The Brazilian blogger who up tuned the glory of Kathakali and Ayurveda therapy said the incident will stay with him for a long time and while praising the tropical beauty of Kerala he said it is very renowned and celebrated in Brazil. He expressed his impression towards the friendly environment and amazing people living inside the shore of the state.

Tarun Gaur and Prasad N.P expressed their view by saying the temple was stunning and they were shocked to see an accumulation of wealth inside the temple. Delighted with the prevalent opportunity they said they would like to visit the temple with their families during the time of vacation.

Indulged with the wonders of colors the blogger and the journalist from Netherlands, Stefania van Lieshout said the state had enthralled her mind and the environment was just splendid. While she always had a desire to visit India and the state so she articulated her view that she is looking forward to understand the glory of the state in desired way. 

Worldwide Following
While following the course Inma Gregorio from Spain, Nelson Carvalheiro from Germany, Oscar Augusto from Brazil and Gael Hilton from Philippines who were accompanied by another five Indian bloggers seem to have enjoyed the worldwide following.

Anita Bora from Bangalore in her words said although I have travelled lot here during my vacation but I missed out in recognizing the tradition and culture and she said that she is looking forward to explore the unique culture and tradition of the state during this two week trip.
She further added after exploring the grandeur she would reveal the glory of the state via blogs and assured that she would post everything related with her trip.

During this two week vacation on the on the Kerala Blog Express participants will write regarding their understanding and experiences  of the state in their blog which would covered the experience of houseboat, hotels and resort.

The exquisitely designed bus would travel all the major destinations such as Kumarakom, Alappuzha, Thekkady, Munnar, Muzris, Kalamandalam, Wayanad and Kappad before ending up at Kochi on March 26.
